New Listing: Solana Coin (SOL)

In Announcements

The rumor was correct - Solana is now listed on Liquid and available for all users!

About Solana

Solana has been constantly on the rise since its emergence and is now one of the top-performing cryptocurrencies of 2021. The technology SOL uses gives it an edge in terms of transactional efficiency and cost-effective security. There are currently 500 projects involving Solana across the DeFi market, including NFTs and Web3.

Solana is known for its high speed and scalability - something even bitcoin and Ethereum still struggle to do. The blockchain can support up to 50,000 transactions per second all while maintaining absolute decentralization.

SOL operates on its own verification process called Proof of History. Built on the same concept as Proof of Work (POW) but with a much larger capacity, SOL is able to validate thousands of transactions at low costs. Solana also uses Proof of Stake, which is an efficient version of POW, a combination of the new technology and the mainstream.
