November has been another productive month of building and progress for Liquid. Here is a round up of all the features, product and marketing updates that our users benefited from throughout November.

World Book Update

The External World Book is a popular topic in our community. In November we released an update on the progress and future of the External World Book.

The World Book reaches beyond Liquid, combining liquidity from a number of external exchanges to give our customers the best possible experience on our platform. The World Book is able to enhance price stability, deepen order books and improve liquidity on Liquid by tapping into other exchanges.

Initially the External World Book will be launched with two of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world. We are currently carrying out the final tests before everything goes live.

No touch API withdrawals

You asked, we delivered.

Pro traders need fast, round-the-clock access to funds. So we implemented API withdrawals so our customers can create fully automated trading systems with Liquid.

ETN trading contest

We teamed up with Electroneum to give away $15k USD in a trading contest. The battles were long and hard, but 40 traders were able to come out on top and snag themselves a prize.

We have been in touch with all competitors to let them know whether they won. The top 40 traders have already received their prizes. Enjoy!

Metacoin listing and bonuses

The Metacoin team believes that the expansion of the blockchain ecosystem is being prevented by a number of common limitations such as limited scalability and poor security. As a result, Metacoin is focused on solving what are believed to be the fundamental issues of cryptocurrency.

Metacoin (MTC), the world’s first hyperledger-based token, is now live for trading on Liquid.

To celebrate the listing of Metacoin on Liquid we are hosting a trading competition and also offering an MTC deposit bonus. A 1% bonus is available for anyone who deposits more than 1,000 MTC and a 3% bonus for anyone who deposits more than 30,000 MTC on Liquid.

For traders, the top 100 MTC traders on Liquid ranked by trading volume by December 9 will win 1,000 MTC. 

Rakun IEO

Blockchain and gaming go hand in hand. The most recent IEO on Liquid, RAKUN, is seizing this opportunity to create a new ecosystem at the apex of games and blockchain technology.

The first game released by RAKUN is Crypt-Oink, a new dapp game that gives players ownership of mysterious pig-like creatures that live on the Ethereum blockchain.

Liquid Pro update

With the release of version 1.2 of Liquid Pro came a few highly requested features.

• Users can now change theme between Liquid blue, dark mode and light mode.
• Traders can save their last order type
• All trading pairs that are available on Liquid web are accessible with Liquid Pro. With Quick Exchange, you now have 5,000 cryptocurrency trading pairs at your fingertips.

Community Migration

To better serve the needs of our growing community, we migrated all activity from our Telegram chat group to alternative channels on November 7. This isn’t the end of our community. But rather, just a shift in choice of platform.

Black Friday

Over Black Friday Weekend we hosted the best crypto sale of all time. Over social media we gave users the chance to win free baskets of crypto, safe to say lots of you were interested in the offer.
