What is FIO?

The Foundation for Interwallet Operability (FIO) is a non-profit decentralized autonomous consortia built by early bitcoiners with the vision of making crypto so easy grandparents can do it. FIO Addresses improve the usability of crypto wallets, exchanges, and payment processors and simplify their overall operations. They also help users eliminate common mistakes in sending and receiving cryptocurrencies, thus reducing the need for confusing public addresses.

Similar to an email address, FIO addresses are easy-to-read wallet identifiers for sending and receiving crypto. They only consist of a username and a domain — for example, bob@liquid.

The FIO Secret Santa Giveaway

Timeline: From 19th December, 2020 at 00:00 JST to 31st December 2020 at 00:00 JST.

To stand a chance to win FIO tokens (“FIO”), Participants must:

1) register their own “@liquid” FIO address on app.liquid.com/wallets/deposits

2) hold at least $50 worth of FIO in their Liquid account at the time of the random snapshot by Liquid. Liquid will conduct a random snapshot of the FIO held in Participants’ Liquid accounts at such time before the end of the Campaign Period, as determined by it in its sole discretion.

5 eligible Participants will be randomly selected by the Organisers to win $50 worth of FIO each!

How to Deposit FIO on Liquid

Liquid supports a number of fiat currencies that can be deposited straight from your bank account. You can swap your fiat to FIO using Liquid Swap service.

If you have your FIO token in a wallet or on another exchange, you can deposit it straight to Liquid. Crypto deposits are easy and take no time at all.
