Liquid is pleased to announce that Quoine Pte. Ltd. (our Singapore-based group company) has reached an amicable settlement with B2C2 Ltd in connection with an ongoing dispute.  The dispute involved algorithmic trading that occurred in April 2017 on Liquid’s predecessor cryptocurrency exchange.

This case generated great interest among cryptocurrency and legal commentators due to its novel issues relating to cryptocurrencies and algorithmic trading, as well as its foreshadowing of future issues relating to smart contracts and artificial intelligence.  Our involvement has been a challenging but tremendously educational experience.

We are glad to put the matter behind us and continue to focus on providing Liquid users with a safe, fair, and trusted trading experience.

Liquid looks forward to collaborating with B2C2 to help develop the blockchain based financial services ecosystem.
